Smart Network Platform Interoperability Solution

The Smart Network Platform (SNP) provides an elegant solution to what has been termed the “radio interoperability problem”.  SNP utilizes an overlay network that connects non-compatible wireless and wired communications devices used by emergency responders, without requiring any changes to the currently operating radio systems. 

The Smart Network Platform is based on proven telephone company central office technology, utilizing a customized, redundant, carrier grade switch manufactured by Eagle Telephonics. Switching is controlled through proprietary SNP local or remote console software which can be installed on any standard personal computer.

SNP is scalable, and may be configured from backpack size for field deployment, to large mobile (tractor/van) and fixed installations for providing comprehensive services appropriate for whole cities or other widespread operating environments.

The SNP can be operated locally, or through long range links to remote control centers, which can allow non-effected personnel to remotely support and control local operations and to provide additional staffing and technical assistance in the first few hours of an emergency.
